About me
I am a communications and public affairs consultant with 15+ years of experience in the public and private sectors, in the United States and internationally. I have built and led teams, developed successful strategies, and advised leaders on reputation and crisis management.
I founded Factual Communications to provide high-level communications services to executives and companies whose work I believe in.
Before starting my own practice, I was Co-Head of Commercial Communications for the Americas at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. I was promoted to the role after building the firm’s communications function in Latin America, partnering with business leaders to make the region one of the firm’s fastest growing and earning a seat in the Latin America Regional Executive Committee.
I am passionate about sustainability and communicating the connection between a company’s impact and the value it creates for employees, customers, and shareholders.
Earlier in my career, I spent more than a decade in public service at the federal and state levels — as a diplomat at the U.S. Department of State and as Deputy Policy Director for the State of New York, where I helped to create the country’s strongest Paid Family Leave program.
In 2024, I was elected to serve as a Trustee in the Katonah-Lewisboro Board of Education, where I reside.
